Again we are sickened with horrific loss of lives....and such young ones and then the beloved local sherrif who gave his life.  And the security people..Sickening.  We did pass minimal gun control legislation in Washington state...a very small step toward trying to curtail some of this craziness .  Our country is so in love with guns:(  The NRA always tries to claim it's about taking all the guns away...absurd.  Most Americans want sane gun control laws.  Heavy heart today and especially for the grandchildren who must go through training in schools in how to possibly react in shootings.  In my day it was how to survive a nuclear attack so we would go into hallways and stand under a red or green triangle (as though that was going to help) and then the duck and cover drills.  Now it's where to hide from a mass shooter...sad commentary on today in America.
