A promising start ....

..... but sadly it didn't last :-((

Any view from my kitchen window is spoiled by the telephone wire but I knew that if I took time to grab trousers and a jacket the golden glow would be gone by the time I got to the best vantage point.

It has been a very dull, windy day despite the sunrise this morning. Not a good day for a walk .... things look a bit better for tomorrow.
