Simi Valley Fire

The fires in Ventura County California are horrendous. I took this photo with my iPhone at 2:30AM this morning from the front of our house. When I saw how high the flames were leaping and how close the fire was, we immediately evacuated to our home in Arnold, CA. We are blessed to be able to have place to go to - many are in temporary shelters.

We don't know what the verdict will be for our home and for hundreds of homes close by us. But none of our stuff is worth a life.
