Bryophytes

Bryophytes is the collective name for a group of land plants including mosses and liverworts.

Worldwide there are some 20,000 different species. Most, but not all, prefer damp spaces. They do not have flowers or seeds but reproduce in a complicated process involving spores.

I rather wish I knew more about them as living in a damp, mild climate, i pass many different ones every time I go out for a walk.
But there just isn’t time to learn about everything.
