BIDDENDEN CHURCH REMEMBERS

The outside of the Church at Biddenden is spectacular. Like many churches the knitted poppies flow down from the top of the tower...cascading down into church yard....it is very effective.
What was even more poignant was inside the church. The perspex figures spread around the pews...representing the young men perisished from the parish/village. The ghostly outlines are a fantastic representation of the missing and non-returned...it hit me hard in the chest......you need to look really really closely to see them in my blip....this is deliberate !!!
