The Light Penetrates

It's Double Up Week for Nectar points at the local supermarket.  I don't think I've ever bought so much 'plonk' before in one visit!  Should keep us going for a little while.

On the way back I passed a small copse of beech trees by the side of the road.  The sunlight was streaming through but as the copse got thicker only the odd leaf was being illuminated.  It now seems that only the evergreens still have any green to their leaves.  We'll soon be back to predominantly bare trees.

I decided to add an extra as I liked how the tree stood out from the belt of trees behind.
