"When Ah waz a lad..." a Woggle was something us Scouts wore on our Neckers.
It took me a long time to realise what "them over there" meant by a
"Pool Noodle". One Americanism we haven't adopted - YET.
It serves another purpose however, in that it illustrates how long it is
(at a minimum) since we were in the then swimming baths; since this place has been open for about a dozen or so years.
