Foxed

The workings of our electricity supplier are foxing us. We chased them (yet again) to give us an appointment to do a job we are required by law (£10,000 fine) to have done by them only to now discover it's a job for a specialist engineer and they have none in our area. So, this is a (large) supplier running a virtual monopoly here who have no suitable staff to service its customers in this region and who run a system where you get the service only by complaining. Unbelievable. They will get in touch in 2 to 3 weeks ... apparently.

Not impressed.
