Dahlia

I've started chopping down the dahlias this afternoon.

The experts will say that this should have been weeks ago before the frosts, but I've done in this way for the last few years and they keep coming back again.

The only difference this year is that last year's plants are being left on the ground after cutting to help protect the tubers for next year.
