A Day Worth Recording

Highway code rule 174 defines Box Junctions.

"These have criss-cross yellow lines painted on the road. You MUST NOT enter the box until your exit road or lane is clear."

So why did the business park decided to paint these, on a lightly trafficked pedestrian crossing?

Did someone have an over-order of yellow paint?

Had there been a problem of cars turning right on to the footpath without waiting? (I'd never thought that 'lane' meant 'footpath' in this context)

We Should Be Told!

Seriously cold and miserable day today. Just a brisk wander outside with two jumpers and a coat, to get some air.

The in-tray battle continues.
