T'was on a Tuesday morning when the gas men came

Nothing ever runs smoothly!
It turns out that two parts of the garden had to be dug up and the guys found so many bricks that I could possibly build an extension!

The new gas pipe just couldn't be connected to my old meter so I now have a rather large metal box on the outside of the house not where I would have chosen but I didn't want the whole driveway dug up so the new meter is where it is .... I'll buy a large pot and plant a flowering shrub to use as a screen.
