Whalley

I spent a lovely  morning with Kate, John and Oscar. Off to Whalley for my hair cut and colour. I had a wander before my appointment and found that Maureen Cookson's had closed down.  Whalley was Maureen Cookson since 1974 an iconic women's clothes shop in the North read about it here. It was a bit of a shock and was  saddened to see it all shut down. We had lived in Whalley from 1994-2000 so it was part of our family history .
Met up with Pat and we went for pizza the first time in ages and it was delicious, thankfully she is feeling better.
