A winter scene? Almost. The College's surroundings are now "very late autumn" in appearance. 

The day has been full. A busy time at work. Gaelic homework afterwards. 

Then a meeting at which the Deputy Leader of the SNP (Keith Brown MSP) was the speaker. The subject - independence, believe it or not. 

It was good timing, with the constitutional meltdown reaching a critical point in London. It was great to hear the inside track from someone whose function involves being on top of that issue. 

He has the kind of background, experience and personality which give his words a lot of weight.
