EARLY MORNING AT THE CRANE POOLS

In pre-dawn light, we set up our tripods.
Waiting for the light.
Waiting for the cranes to take to the sky.

Only one problem.
At 20F degrees,
Standing outside,
Adjusting camera settings,
Poised to push the shutter button,
The hands freeze, and I mean freeze.
The I-don't-care kinda frozen
