Crazy Storm...

Yesterday we had quite the storm, but we needed to go up to Sydney for an appointment for Terry, so off we went!   It's still early enough in the winter that we figured we had some time before we really needed the studded snow tires....ha!!!   The drive home was horrendous, what usually takes just under an hour, took us almost 2 hours....high winds causing white out conditions .... very stressful.  Then to top it all we got stuck on our big hill.....had to back down, in the dark and swirling snow...hardly able to see where we were going almost went into the ditch!   But my trusty Terry decided we would give it another try...i wasn't sure what plan B would be mind you......and so he said 'hold on tight' and up we went.....it was a close call just at the steepest part of the hill but we made it!!!!   Home was a totally fabulous sight i can tell you.

So today, we are waiting for the plow to come do our hill...we have guests leaving one of the cabins....not such a huge issue cos it's all down hill...but still a bit crazy!

Winter seems to be paying us a very early visit, i'm not impressed!!!
