Lunch at Truly Scrummy

This was a grabbed shot as Ann was paying for our lunch yesterday.  I quite liked the one where the man who owns the cafe was looking towards us but I only managed to get in Ann’s nose and tip of her chin, so I avoided that one.  We were on overnight granny duties in Horsforth while my son and partner had an overnight trip to Manchester.

And we failed to get to Jimmy’s rugby match to see him play.  He’d gone with a friend and his mum so we could set off a bit later.  Unfortunately the phone Sat Nav dumped us at Trinity and All Saints and after we tried a number of alternatives, without luck,  we finally managed to locate the ground a few hundred yards away, but further up the road.  So we were already 30 minutes late as we got out of the car, only for Ann to announce that she’d seen him in the back of a car that was just leaving.  So we headed back thinking he’d be home ahead of us only to have him walk into the house 30 mins after we returned (after a few frantic phone calls).  It turns out it wasn’t him in the car after all so we missed seeing him play!  We went to lunch as compensation and it was very scrummy!
