All of a Sudden

A couple of weeks ago I cleared the weeds and old foliage from around the clumps of Iris unguicularis.  No sign of developing flower buds then.  It seems that last week's fine weather has had an effect as half a dozen of these greeted me this morning.

An early morning trip out with Jamie to get fruit and veg for the newly acquired juicer.  Jamie had a very healthy breakfast after.   A morning 'spring cleaning' the kitchen.  An afternoon nap but we're all still tired tonight.
