Turnstone

Backblip
Bev and I had a morning in Cromer and as the tide was out we had a walk under the pier to see if there was anything interesting to photo.  Sure enough, three cute little turnstones were scurrying around looking for tasty morsels left by the receding tide.
I particularly love the way they run, they are still for a moment then they dash off at quite a rate and almost look like they are gliding along the sand, before coming to a standstill again.  A pretty bird with rather attractive orange legs and feet.
