Winter Wonderland

Evening all,

Dragged round the shops.....we took Mini G to see Santa in the Grotto for her very first ever visit......Santa now knows she wants cake brought lol.........then mad dash home to catch the train through to Edinburgh for the switching on of the Christmas lights and Edinburgh's Winter Wonderland......!!!

Every year Edinburgh receives their Christmas tree as a gift from the people of Hordaland in Norway!!

We had a great show telling the dreams of children, a man flew round the christmas tree, there were fireworks and then a show at St Andrew's Square........hundreds of people were there......crammed in a street to watch the start.......can never understand when its so so busy, people bring buggies and prams through then complain they cant get near anywhere !!!

Then it was off to the buffet restaurant for my reward for my 'patience' in shopping!!! ;0)
