Ow Much?

An oft-repeated question in these (Yorkshire) parts is 'Ow Much?'  With emphasis on the first word it signals alarm, whilst no emphasis at all seems to indicate suspicion.

Nevertheless, this recent 'bargain basement' addition to the town centre certainly seems to promote curiosity and appears to have a substantial footfall. It is difficult to judge how many people are buying anything there.

On a dull dreary day like today, there was still a fair amount of interest in visiting the place.
