... a fair representation of the mid-morning light in the Valley Gardens, when I took this shot.

Indeed, the light now, outside the window, is not a lot different from what it was four hours ago.

It's Autumn, damp, dull and silent.

It was particularly striking that the people I passed were nearly all talking aloud, to their dogs, or, apparently, to themselves, presumably through invisible electronic devices.
