Magical Trees

Backblip
My main blip is of illuminated Silver Birch trees with an intentional zoom burst effect (just the thing when it's dark and you don't have your tripod)!
B and I went to the Repton Revealed Illuminations at Sheringham Park.  The weather was perfect, not too cold (or so we thought at the beginning of the route), and a beautiful sky full of stars.  With there being virtually no light pollution and the fact that you could see the whole sky uninterrupted like a dome around you it was like being at the Planetarium...magical!
The illuminations were to celebrate the work of Landscape Designer  Humphrey Repton, whose work at Sheringham Park is largely unchanged so the perfect place to celebrate his genius.
The extra is of the house which was the grand finale, seated on logs we were treated to a twenty minute presentation of different projections presented on the facade and some beautiful music.  The picture on the house incorporates the temple that is in the park and the lovely view we enjoy of the sea when we walk there.
Then the best finale of all...a hot cup of coffee!  I think we had become colder than we thought while sitting down.  What a great event.
