Smokey 1719 hr (Wednesday 21st November 2018)

Plus ça change, anapodotonically speaking. I have been keeping up with your journals though a few of you may have noticed it's been nearly a week since I blipped, so I thought I would check in with a couple of Smokey shots. I have been busy working on a backlog of photographs but haven't taken any since my last blip.

Today was rainy, and it actually snowed very near here, so Smokey hasn't ventured far from my study, and neither have I.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Maisha - Osiris (2018)
The monthly music magazines have begun to publish their reviews and compilations of 2018 and one trend has been the welcome re-emergence of jazz in its many forms, including spiritual jazz, whose exponents include Kamasi Washington and Maisha. Over 20 minutes of Mojo's The Best Of 2018 was devoted to two tracks by them including this piece.
