Looking west

Heavy rain this morning left a clear and soft day. Chores done we hoofed it round the circuit eventually carrying on and rounding the headland too. The light was beautiful - all shimmery with hints of pink, and big billowy clouds on the horizon. Cormorants, turnstones, curlews, oystercatchers, snipe , egrets - and the Great Northern Divers (loons) have arrived. Himself found a plastic baseball bat and proceeded to bash stones into the sea. Small pleasures :)
