The Snowman

Karen and I went to Brighton to see the Royal Pavilion dressed for Christmas. Photography isn't allowed in the building so a relaxing of the rules to take photos of a replica of Queen Victoria's sleigh in the Music Room was an opportunity too good to miss. In return for taking someone else's photo they kindly took ours. Here we are in extras dressed in furs and our finest hats :) I was pleased to also see the Salon as it has been under restoration for several years.

After that excitement we went squizzer hunting. Karen, being the organised one, had come prepared with nuts to tempt them within range. They seemed rather shy today but we managed a few photos.

Next blip opportunity was the ice rink. We watched the skaters for a while then had lunch at the cafe there.

We finished our day with a wander round Brighton Museum.  We both enjoyed the Raymond Briggs exhibition of the Snowman sketches.

Thanks Karen for a fun filled day and so many blip opportunities.
