I'm a bit better today but I'm coughing a lot which is actually painful. And I'm very tired. We did a bit of a shop today and climbing the stairs did for me.

So on my last official day of unemployment I practised some more German. Trying to get into that mode of thinking again.

German can be very strange with that verb-at-the-end-of-the-sentence-thing it's got going but in truth, you very rarely hear anyone saying something so complicated that you've got time to wonder "but what did you do?" Or at least I don't.
