Cake Day.

It’s National Cake Day... I’ve not heard of this either...

So- a recipe for Christmas Cake, found in my late mother’s recipe book. ( I cannot believe she actually made this as it seems a very complicated recipe with lots of unusual ingredients). She quite liked writing out recipes, but often just stuck to the same tried and tested recipes that she had been making for years.
