Little boxes

Spotted in Palafrugell today -- I grant that it's an emergency blip, but I liked the crisp lines and colours, and the row of aerials.

We finished work at lunchtime and went for a swim and a hammam in Palafrugell, followed by coffee at the Centre Fraternel, which as usual was full of elderly men playing chess and cards.

This evening, in pursuit of our duty to try all the restaurants in Begur, at least those that are open in winter, we dined at the Turandot, which according to Trip Advisor is the best in Begur. When we arrived, it was deserted -- we had to knock on the kitchen door to attract attention. We detest eating in empty restaurants, but luckily a large group of people arrived immediately after us. The food was good value for money (22 euros including wine), but not stupendous. I was gratified that the besuc al horno (baked sea bass) was done almost exactly as I do it, except with professional cheffy touches, i.e. crispy skin.
