The temperature is rising

Spring is progressing towards early summer here in Auckland. There has been a fairly short transition from when it was still more comfortable wearing a jacket for the ride to work in the mornings (at the start of the month) and now the jacket produces more discomfort. There were probably one or two days where one still needed the jacket so as to not be cold when starting the ride.It's only this week that after even my gentle cycling, I can feel too warm. 

The sun made an even faster transition from blindingly bright to below the horizon.
