TIPSY THURSDAY

............not really.  Just having fun.
Another beautiful day - brekky with my son and Sophia - she stole everyone's attention, more of Sophia at lunchtime followed by a Champagne course with high tea late this afternoon.  Very interesting to learn how the wine is made, judged and we tasted six of them - Prosecco, one from Tasmania, South Australia and champagne from France (of course).  I know that doesn't add up to six but trust me there were six and a couple weren't worth mentioning.  My fave was the one from Tassie.  
Rob, our instructor, took the sabre and whipped the cork out of the bottle of champagne.  I snavelled the cork and thought having the bottle would make a blip.  One of the arty girls in the group suggested using a plastic knife for the stand in sabre.  All a bit of fun.
I'm unsure if this qualifies for Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday challenge of still life.  I'll give it a go.  Thank you, Ingeborg for hosting.
