Men at work

After a grey and soggy morning a few breaks in the clouds began to show in the east, so I took myself and my coffee up to the Palo Alto baylands and was well rewarded.  This view shows Monday's bridge (or bridges) from the other side - the Dumbarton road bridge, the old railway bridge, and somewhere in there the Hetch-Hetchy aqueduct carrying beautiful fresh Sierra water across the bay, but not to my house! The two workmen leaving for their lunch break are a little hard to see on the lower left. The extra shows the boardwalk over the nature reserve that they are repairing.
