Who's that peeping round the corner?

Basil and I finally got to the Rotary Club Christmas Tree Festival at St Botolph's mid afternoon. It was crowded and Basil wasn't really happy with all the people and noise around. He perked up when we sat down for tea and biscuits and made a good job of hoovering under the table.

Nipping to the loo, I was greeted by this cuddly toy Friesian peeping round the corner. Funny.

The trees were cheery with lots of lights. See the album on Flickr.

I went to see Colin in Coalville Community Hospital just after 6 pm.  Ironically he looks better than he did a week ago. I took some photos to show him although they didn't print well and I've got to work out what has happened to the printer profile.

Stayed for about an hour. He's had plenty of visitors, which is good. The minister from the Shepshed Baptist Church even caught the bus to come and see him. Needless to say, the Anglican vicar hasn't made any effort.

They call him Santa on the ward.
