Love Loughborough

In the gym shortly after 10 am and still glowing when I went to bed. All sorts of Santas were making their way into town for the annual Santa Fun Run organised by the local Rotary Club, although Love Loughborough likes to take credit.

Cheered by my knee mobilising well after fifteen minutes on a bike. Switched today from more time spent on bike than on treadmill. PT in charge very helpful.

Walked into town afterwards to see Aziz and the conclusion of the Fun Run following a flock of Santas across Queen's Park. (an extra). Dogs were even joining in the fun. Although a gloomy day, the sky was colourful enough to lift the mood. An oak and the willow trees still bear leaves. (another extra).

Stopped off at Sainsburys on the way home for shopping and petrol after lunch at newish venue called Blues. Strange that I don't get the opportunity much to go shopping because Len considers it his job.

Home to find that Len had taken Basil for his walk. Selected more photos for my talk on Venice to Coalville Camera Club tomorrow night. It started to rain while I was sitting in the conservatory.
