More drainage today. The recent rain has been running down the track, gouging the surface. I dig out the silted up ditch, shifting heavy narrow loads of wet mud, until it’s flowing freely again. There’s still more to dig out, but this will do for now.

Mike pops in for coffee, bringing some slabs and sand for another job. I may not start this weekend, but I’ll need to create a plinth for the heat pump in the next couple of weeks.

Later, I reassemble the bike’s fuel tap. It’s still leaking. Luckily, Mike has just acquired a tube of CT1, which seems like some magic bonding compound. It works on pretty much everything, including fuel tanks. Fingers crossed that when it’s cured there are no more leaks.
