Frozen canal

A cold start to December. Watched a good Scottish Cup tie on TV at lunchtime - the Highland derby between Ross County and Inverness Caley. Finished 3-3, with Caley taking the lead twice only for County to peg them back and then score again in injury time to lead 3-2 and apparently be on course for the next round. Except Caley then equalised with more or less the last kick of the game. Elsewhere United won easily at Stranraer while Celtic failed to beat Arbroath in Glasgow. Replay of last year's final tomorrow - the green half of Edinburgh will be hoping for some revenge, but Hearts will hope they can win even as underdogs. Funny that the previous year's final should be replayed in the fourth round the following season for the second time in three years.
