Greenway Gate

I'm not sure how much longer we'll see wooden farm gates in this part of the world. A few farmers seem to be replacing them but mostly they seem to get replaced by galvanised tube metal gates. This one has been gradually deteriorating and I don't think they bothered opening it the last time it was used, just ran the tractor through it. It's not been replaced but just supplemented with a metal hurdle.

I thought it might make a good mono image on a rainy afternoon especially with that strange old ivy-covered tree in the background.
