Colourful

Currently in Vagueira in Portugal. I have been out of commission for a few days with a touch of tummy bug but today felt well enough to walk down to the beach and to take the camera with me. Spotted this fabulous colour combination along the way.

Thought at first glance that these were Kniphofias, but clearly they are not.

It is much warmer down here than it was up in the mountains but not as hot as it was when we were here all but a year ago. It was good though to be sat in shirt sleeves last night and with the vents open. Moving south again tomorrow, perhaps we shall be sitting out with our aperitifs before too long.
