The Tree

It's the first time we've got a Christmas tree from Tom and we are very pleased with it.  Tom, who is the same age as Ben (and used to come round for tea) stopped going to school about Year 8 and has since started his own business in Linton, got married and had a baby!

Liam, in the hat, is also the same year.  He helps Tom out and also works in the local newsagent.  

I've been searching out photos of Geoff Norby this evening, a local plumber (we've known for 20 years) who died suddenly last week in Florida after celebrating his 70th birthday with his family.  What a terrible shock.  His widow contacted me as she suspected I had a few (blip) photos of him - which I do, the latest from a couple of years ago is here.  He'd just started to enjoy his retirement.  How unfair is that?  Sincere condolences Hazel and family. xxxx
