Gloucester Cathedral Cloisters

Took a drive up to Gloucester today, and nipped in to the Cathedral. Always a decent photo to be found in there, and there's been a lot of work on and around the building since we were last there. Grey, overcast, drizzly kind of day, but made nicer by a long phone chat with Charlie in Munich.

Yesterday's extra ordinary parish council meeting didn't fully address all the issues we have regarding the future of the village hall and playing field, but at least we're talking together with a shared wish to make the best of it for the community into the future. But at least I've almost walked off the huge lunch from yesterday with the luncheon club!

A quiet day too, made more so by the failure of the software upgrade at O2.

Heh, I remember a similar event happening at work when we carried out a similar upgrade at work - also on Ericsson systems, although I suspect the  MD110 is a bit long in the tooth now - and we lost the "secure" Government Telephone Network. Squeaky bums all round, but it was soon back. I hope my mobile service is back soon too!
