Market Harborough Christmas Fayre

The Christmas Fayre with a 'y' came to town last night. It's a much better name than the old one - 'Late Night Shopping' - but it is the same event! However, there's a lovely atmosphere and it's so pleasant to have the streets closed to traffic.

A children's choir were singing in the church where mulled wine and mice pies were on offer, Santa came, so did the rides, stilt walkers, salsa band, trading and entertainment stalls. A music stage was further down, outside The Angel next to the flight simulator. It was difficult to pick just one image to sum it all up (hence a few extras) but I like this one as it has the three iconic town buildings in; St Dionysius on the left, The Old Grammar School on the right, the Symington Building in the background and Santa in his sleigh. There - what an old softy I am.
