Carol Service

B, A and I went along to the beautiful  Church of St. Nicholas in Blakeney today (see extra).  We attended the carol service hosted by our local Arts Society group.  The church has a very high ceiling and the wooden beams depict lofty, carved angels which looked down on us below, definitely a re-visit will be required to enjoy and photograph it at our leisure. We've not been members of this society very long but we received a very warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed singing a few favourite carols, listening to some wonderful readings and sampling some warm mince pies after the service.  Most heart-warming.

The main blip is of the churchyard which even though it was around midday when this was taken, is showing off some attractive low light creeping in through the trees.
