Huddle

Alf had football this morning in Biggleswade which is somewhere near Wales (slight exaggeration).

It was a great facility, proper covered, seated stands, dugouts for the teams, floodlights, a pitch that was lumpier than school custard.
It seemed that all of the many home supporters were resting Premiership managers, quite why they are wasting their considerable experience, talent, foresight and irritating shoutiness on lads football is beyond me. It did get a little bit nasty towards the end when we equalised in the last couple of minutes.

Home via a popular takeaway and then car washing for our trip up North. In case you re interested Autoglym snow foam is excellent. Whilst I was doing the car Bill came down to talk Christmas lights which spurred me on to put our meagre lights up.
I think they are quite subtle, tasteful, classy even; )
