Baby Harper

Baby Harper (blipped), her big brother Jackson, and parents Darcie and Keith came to visit this morning.

Much of the rest of the day was dedicated to contacting family and friends to tell them the sad news of my father's death yesterday, and then respond to their kind messages of condolence.

Then this evening we popped down the road for a very enjoyable couple of hours chez ArcLight and AlfThomas at their gathering. Here we devoured some fabulous homemade goodies (tarts, quiches, frittata, chocolate brownies, ice cream) and chatted to our hosts and the other guests.

Exercise today: a little walking (8531 steps).
