Vantage Point

I stopped off at Polesden Lacy on the way home from Mum's today. This National Trust property was the home of Mrs Greville, who gave fabulous festive parties in the 1930's, playing hostess to important figures of the time. Among her visitors were the future King George and Queen Elizabeth, who honeymooned here in the 1920's. The extra shows an example of the lavish comforts her guests enjoyed
