One God

The Newton Park Congregational Baptist Church was built in 1887, on the site of a former chapel. During the early 1950s it became a Royal Airforce Association Club, when the back part of the building also served as a synagogue. In 1963 it became a Sikh Temple. It's now in disuse and crumbling away.

The symbols are those of the Sikh religion: The Khanda and Ek Onkar.

One God. One church. Many forms of worship.
