Mike's cobweb

Most of my weekend has been taken up preparing to go away for most of the coming week. I'll be in Wellington for the Webstock Conference. Given the current financial and economic situation I feel privileged.

Summer departed sometime last week but reappeared today. That meant a lot of outside jobs today, or I'll return next Saturday to knee high grass.

Late in the day I was talking to my neighbour over the back fence and spotted a few cobwebs in his old sheds. It's not the greatest shot but I liked the imperfections in the web and the light behind it.

Hopefully Wellington will turn on glorious late summer weather (not that I'll be outside much to enjoy it), but I have my running shoes and camera packed).
