We are almost at the six month mark and it still feels strange to call this house 'home'.  Transporting our familiar earthly possessions from one house to another doesn't mean that it'll feel comfortable enough to call home right away.  It has to earn its right.  I need to log some time, plant roots, make some memories and create a bit of history here first.  Even though I do love our new location and am so happy here, it'll take a while.  I know it'll come.

My seasonal decorations are very minimal and simple this year.  The joys of not needing more as I look out each framed window to the picturesque winter wonderland around me.  I'm enthralled.
