Redhall Mill Weir

Edinburgh this morning and a visit to The Swing, the cafe at Colinton Parish Church. I was taking a donation from my sister and me to the Church's Christmas collection in memory of family members who had an active connection with this church. Coffee with the minister and it was nice to renew acquaintance with him. The money collected is used to plug  significant gaps in our welfare and support systems and means that some children will have a decent pair of warm pyjamas to wear at Christmas. Honestly it drives you to despair.

After coffee a walk in Colinton Dell where I blipped the weir on the Water of Leith. Then, because it was really cold, back to the Swing cafe for homemade soup and gf apple crumble which felt like just the right fare. Home now and it's yoga soon.
