5-Rise in Winter

Called at the lovely Five-Rise Cafe for a takeaway coffee on the way to Screwfix (ugh!) at Crossflatts. I asked if I could have it in my reusable cup and it was obvious that no-one had ever asked that before. She said, "This is really good isn't it? If only everyone did this." Yes indeed. I keep a reusable cup in my bag now, along with a reusable shopping bag and my other necessities!

The man at Screwfix called Lurkio *Man* and *Fella* in every sentence. We laughed about that all the way home. It could have been worse though, he could have called him *chief*.
