Stayin’ alive

Today I completed my 2018 parkrun challenge by taking part in the last of the 24 events in Essex that I aimed to visit this year at Gunpowder Park in Waltham Abbey.

I’d hoped to be able to jog it but my knee just isn’t up to it. I thought of postponing as it is only a challenge to myself but I’m fearing it might never be fit for running on at the current rate of recovery.

I’m grateful that I was able to walk at a decent pace, that the traffic was favourable and that I’ve used all of the glitter covered paper.
